Vehicle Tracking System Logysat S.A is a vehicle tracking company located in Guatemala. They hired our customized Vehicle Monitoring System.
The system implementation included the installation, the parameterization of the system and the training of the system staff (both technicians and operators).
Some modules were developed according to the customer´s needs. In these cases, a team of Globalis analysts (system and electronic engineers), together with a Logysat analyst, assessed the customers’ requirements and designed the modules. Then they proceeded to the development, documentation, training and implementation of these modules.

Bus Monitoring System

We developed our system works in the passenger transport area of the company.
Project Description
We designed a project that consisted of a system that allows real-time monitoring of the company's long distance units entire fleet. The system has modules for the monitoring, operations and maintenance areas of the company. To complete these tasks we had to develop engineering and documentation processes in order to establish and record all the design requirements of the system. We also implemented the interfaces to obtain information from other systems, integrating them and use them as a basis to provide the system required information based on the GPS data transmitted. In this project we designed a communication interface with the on-board computer of the unit to allow it to transmit its data (temperature, oil pressure, errors, etc.) in real time.

The analysis, design and implementation of the complete system took seven months.
Working Method
A working team from the two companies was formed. This team was made up of a person in charge of each area involved, a technology manager and two developers from Andesmar. The project leader was an electronic engineer and developer from Globalis. This multidisciplinary team designed the communications architecture and interfaces and the development platform, as well as the technical features of the equipment and antennas to be installed in the units; the prototypes of each of the modules were tested. Once the prototypes were approved, the development stage started working after the implementation of these modules.

Parcel Delivery System

We developed our system works in the parcel delivery area of the company.
Project Description
The project consisted of designing a comprehensive system with modules for the administrative, commercial and operational management of the parcel delivery business. We carried out engineering and documentation processes in order to establish and document all the operational and administrative circuits needed by the requirements of the system. We also made an analysis of the new needs of each of the areas involved, as well as the existing disadvantages of the users of the previous system.

The analysis, design and implementation of the complete system took two years and four months.
Working Method
A working team from the two companies was formed. This team was made up of a person in charge of each area involved, a technology manager of Andesmar and our analysts. This multidisciplinary team defined the new organizational model of this area of the company, establishing the flow diagram of each of the internal activities, optimizing the internal stages and the complete traceability of each document generated in that sector. The necessary accounting modules were integrated, adapting them to the modality defined by the responsible for the company's administrative area. We also established the necessary circuits to guarantee the backup of the existent system data prior to the implementation of the new system project development.

Money Transfer System

We developed our system works in the money transfer services area of the company.

The project consisted of designing a comprehensive system with modules for the administrative, commercial and operational management of the money transfer services business. To this end, a process engineering and documentation of them was carried out in order to establish and document all the operational and administrative circuits that the design of the system should contemplate. In addition, an analysis was made of the new needs of each of the sectors involved, as well as the existing disadvantages of the users of the previous system.

The project consisted of designing an integral system with modules for the management of minutes, certified letters, notifications, trials, vehicle fleets, insurance, legal notifications, contracts, claims and front desk, among others. We carried out a process engineering and documentation in order to establish and document all the operational and administrative circuits that design of the system required. We also made an analysis of the new needs of each of the sub-sectors involved, and a "workflow" was designed to support the complex documentation management. Additionally, we determined and designed interfaces with other company systems.

The project consists of the development of customized systems and their integration with other system developments that are carried out in the company. Autotransportes Andesmar has a team of seven developers working alongside with three software developers from our company on the same project.

Working Modality
An inter-company working team was formed by a group of analysts and developers from Globalis and from Autotransporte Andesmar development team and analysts. The methodology consisted of making detailed assessments of the working operation of the operative processes and of the interfaces to be developed. This team is defining the different functionalities that the system will require and planning their development phases. Once the scope and functionalities of each module have been defined in detail, trial prototypes are made. Once the customer verifies and approves the prototype, we begin with the actual development stages according to the plan.

Group of six companies in the auto parts sector located in Mendoza, Neuquén, La Pampa, Córdoba, Rosario and Chaco. This group requested a comprehensive solution that would cover the needs of all the companies in the group and that would allow unifying criteria while working and exchanging information.

The project consisted in designing a comprehensive system that had modules for the administrative, commercial and operative management of the auto-parts business. A multidisciplinary team was formed with our systems area , organizational and accounting analists. This team worked in order to design the ideal system that fulfilled the functional requirements of the group, it also took into account the particularities of each of the member companies. We carried out a process engineering and documentation in order to establish and document all the operational and administrative circuits that design of the system required. We also made an analysis of the new needs of each of the sectors involved. We also made an analysis of the new needs of each of the sectors involved, as well as the detection of the existing inconveniences of the users of the previous system. The analysis and assessment works were done in each of the companies.

The analysis and design of the complete system took a one year and nine months. Currently the implementation phases have begun.

An inter-company work team was formed consisting of a group of our analysts and developers and staff from the different areas of Transporte Andreu. The working methodology consisted of carrying out a detailed assessment of each of the areas operation, an according to this assessment we make a diagnosis of the current situation. The project consisted in the development of a document digitalization and documentation control system, integrated with web services of the AFIP (Inland Revenue).

Remote Control System of the Cathodic Protection Rectifier
Project Description
The project consisted of the development of a Rectifier Remote Control System used in the cathodic protection industry. This system allows the administration and parameterization of rectifier equipment and communication units, as well as complete management of communication links and packages. The system also allows the remote control of the remote equipment, either to obtain information from them or to send commands to them. The system is supported and based on a user interface and a specific communications driver for this purpose.

The programming of the complete system took nine months.
